• Mission Statement - MCA Responsibilities

MCA Meeting Calendar

• February Board Meeting (Financials- Previous Year, Board Seats & Officers)

• May Board Meeting (Financials Q1 Jan - Mar, Summer Prep & Updates)

• August Board Meeting (Financials Q2 Jan- Jun, Summer Progress & PY Audit)

• November Board Meeing (Financials Q3 Jan - Sep, Budget Meeting & Set Assessment Rates)

• December Annual Members Meeting and Delegate Election

• Delegate Forums/Meetings (Frequency, Times, Days)

Role of the Community Delegates (11) Annually Elected by the Community

• Primary Advisory Committee to Executive Board (Quarterly)

• Approve Annual Assessment Rates (Annually Each November)

• Elect Open Executive Board Members (Annually)

• Serve as committee members of the Covenant Compliance Committee

• Serve as committee members of the Design Review for all Residential Remodeling

Duties of the Executive Board (5) Elected by the Community Delegates

• Hire & provide oversight of Executive Director

• Ensure the collection of assessments on behalf of all members

• Set policies & rules of the association

• Ensure the enforcement of covenants of the declaration

• Ensure the adherence of maintenance requirements

• Ensure free of conflicts of interest

• Protect the confidentiality to the association

• Ensure good faith in decision making

• Adhere to decisions of the board

Role of the Executive Director

• Ensure MCA CC&R, Bylaw & CCIOA Compliance

• Support Executive Board & Delegates

• Manage MCA Budget, Staff, Operations & Contractors

• Interface with MCA Legal Council (Altitude Law)

• Interface with MCA Auditors (Jim Moore & Associates)

• Interface with MCA Partners (PCMD, City of Denver, WCMD, Developers)

Operational role of the MCA

• Collection of assessments - Budget

• Fund a Community Reserve Fund consistent with assets managed

• Operations & Maintenance Community Parks (excluding DPR)

• Operations & Maintenance of Community Pools

• Provide for Recreational & Cultural Programs and Events

• Enforcment of Covenants, Rules & Policies

• Management of the Public Alleys
