2027 Delegates Nominees

  • DISTRICT 1

Don Cloutier - Awaiting image and bio.

  • DISTRICT 2

    Matthew Quinn

I've lived in the community for five years and owned a house for just under that number of years. I've had two kids born here. I absolutely love Denver and as my kids are getting older, I'm consistently thinking, how do I invest in the community and use my executive skills to make a better community for my kids to grow up in and ultimately, hopefully be participants in as adults.

As someone who has lived in many countries and many cities around the world, I find that I bring a perspective to local conversations around how things can be run or solved that many seem to not entertain.

It's very easy for my neighbors to complain about things in this neighborhood and in this city and take no action. But it is not something that I tolerate. Fundamentally, whether it is change that we need or stable and responsible stewardship, I will feel most comfortable if I can be a lever of influence.

  • DISTRICT 3

    Joanna Johnson

My family and I have lived in Central Park since 2005. Some of the most important attributes of this neighborhood are: the availability of social and entertainment options, diversity of retail/business offerings, availability of alternative transportation options & walkability, as well as the diversity of home prices.

  • DISTRICT 4

    Mark Mehringer

Currently I serve as a board member for the MCA and as Treasurer. In the past I have served as President, vice president, and Secretary for the Central Park United Neighbors. In those roles I have long encouraged and worked to support strong community engagement in organizations throughout the neighborhood and hope to do the same as a delegate.

  • DISTRICT 5

    Tom Reynolds-Awaiting image.

I have lived in the Central Park community for close to twenty years, becoming an original member of the South End neighborhood in 2005 where I still live. My two daughters grew up here and are DPS graduates. I currently own a Central Park based marketing business.

I stepped in to serve District 4 last year after learning we did not have a community delegate representing us.
I enjoy serving the community. I have volunteered with numerous local organizations like the Central Park Business Association, Rotary Club of Northeast Denver, and Westerly Creek Elementary. My objective is to help keep our facilities and property in top condition, promote safety, and be fiscally responsible.

  • DISTRICT 5

    Andrew Bartlett

I have been a resident of the Central Park community since 2006 in two different areas of the neighborhood (Central Park West & Eastbridge). I have served as District 5 (Eastbridge) delegate for a number of years. I served previously as a board member for one of the neighborhood sub-associations and I also currently serve as a board member of the Park Creek Metro District. I enjoy serving my community. I wish to continue serving the members of my district and our community. As a husband and father of 2 kids who are students at Northfield HS. I recognize the leadership that the MCA provides in the Central Park community and that our residents look for guidance and policy on the issues that impact their daily lives. Serving on the MCA is a great privilege for me to help our community to be the best that is can be…a great place to live for everyone and a community that values diversity and inclusion.

  • DISTRICT 5

    Emma Dzelzkalns

care about having a strong, connected community and want to play a more active role in shaping how our neighborhood grows and operates. I’m especially interested in helping ensure residents feel informed, heard, and well represented in decisions that affect the community. Professionally, I’ve spent much of my career in customer success and leadership roles, where I’ve had to listen to diverse perspectives, communicate clearly, solve problems, and balance individual needs with the broader goals of an organization. I believe those skills translate well to the Delegate role. I would bring a thoughtful, practical, and collaborative approach to representing my neighbors, while also helping strengthen communication between residents and the MCA. I see the role as an opportunity to contribute my experience, learn more about how our community is governed, and help make Central Park an even better place to live.

  • DISTRICT 6

    Matt Blackburn

I am asking the MCA members in District 6 to re-elect me to another year as District Delegate to continue my work on the association's financial reporting and governance issues. The past year has brought about many changes for MCA, and next year promises more of the same. MCA needs delegates who are engaged and committed to seeing that the board and management perform their responsibilities to the expectations that we all share as residents of the community.

  • DISTRICT 7-OPEN

    OPEN

  • DISTRICT 8

    Sarah Stabio

Sarah Stabio has lived in Central Park’s Conservatory Green neighborhood since 2014 and is deeply rooted in the community. She previously owned The Bar Method Denver–Northfield and now works with Front Porch newspaper to support local businesses through advertising. A mom of three, she is passionate about keeping neighbors informed. Sarah has served as the District 8 delegate since 2019 and on the MCA Board since 2025.

  • DISTRICT 8

    Alexander Morin

I've volunteered with organizations like the Colorado Senate and Chicago Cares in the past, but I've never been more interested in getting involved in my own community. I'm about to turn 37, have two young kids (3½ and 1), and bought a home in Conservatory Green a little over a year ago. At this point in my life, I'm thinking less about where I might live next and more about how I can make the place I live better, especially for the kids growing up here. One of the things I love about Central Park is how much the neighborhood offers, from parks and pools to community events. I also understand that maintaining those things costs money, and that there's a balance between investing in the community and being responsible with residents' money. I'd like to be a delegate because I care about where this neighborhood is headed and want to have a say in the decisions that shape it. I think I'd bring a practical perspective, an open mind, and a genuine interest in hearing what my neighbors think.

  • DISTRICT 9

    Margaret Mitchell

Current President of The Edge at Central Park HOA. I would like to get a more holistic view of the community and support MCA activities.

  • DISTRICT 10

    Bryan Penny

I have lived in the Central Park neighborhood since 2003 and been involved in the Central Park United Neighbors (CPUN) since it's founding in 2004. I haven't had the time to devote to both CPUN and MCA until recently. I retired in November last year and feel that I have sufficient time for both and feel very passionate about the neighborhood and making it better for the residents. In addition, I served as President of a sub-HOA for 10 years (prior to moving to Beeler Park). Looking forward to making a difference with the MCA. I was also a member of the Central Park Public Art Committee for the full term of its existance. Prior to retiring I spent my career working in Accounting, Finance, Retail and Financial Services. My last job before retirement was as an executive with a non-for-profit that supported the retail industry. I feel my background makes me suited to serve as a delegate.

  • DISTRICT 10

    Jonathan Williams

I’d like to contribute to our community, especially in areas of fire mitigation and recreational resource utilization. I have served on the CU Golden Buffalo Scholarship Board, Buikt Green Colorado Board (3Xchair) Homebuilders Association of Metro Denver (Past President)

  • DISTRICT 11

    Julie Gladnick

I have lived in Central Park for 12 years and North End for 2.5. Looking to be a part of the community in a more proactive way to help support the neighborhood.

  • DISTRICT 11

    Melissa May

Since moving to Colorado, I have had the opportunity to live in several different neighborhoods throughout Central Park. Experiencing different parts of the community firsthand has given me a unique perspective on the challenges and priorities that can vary from one neighborhood to another. I understand that every community has its own needs, and I have made an effort to stay actively involved and help bring positive change where I can. I want to become an MCA delegate because I believe in being an engaged member of my community and making sure residents have a voice in the decisions that affect them. I see this as an opportunity to build on the work I have already been doing, listen to the concerns of my neighbors, and help connect our community with the resources and conversations that can lead to meaningful change.

  • DISTRICT 11

    Claire Crookston

I designed Grow Together, a proposal for a community garden and gathering space in Central Park, because I want the neighborhood to have more places to connect. Serving as a Community Delegate would let me bring the same approach to MCA’s work: listen to residents, test ideas against real needs, and turn them into plans people can understand and support. I have spent 13+ years as a UX and UI product designer, translating between users, stakeholders and decision makers. I would bring that skill to this role and commit to the monthly meetings and the work between them.

  • DISTRICT 11

    Bruce McCollister

I’m running for the board because I care about our community and the people in it. Before moving to Northfield, I lived in a south Denver community where my kids grew up. That community was instrumental in the lives of my kids and for my wife and I. The friendships we made still exist to this day. I value strong community connections and building a place people actively want to call home.
