Fifteen-year-old Ana Maria feels stifled by her strict father; he is bewildered by her wish to be herself. Wise Abuela and brother Rodolfo try to help, but it takes a family crisis to bring father and daughter to the beginning of acceptance and understanding. 

Performances will be on the North Green (49th & Valentia) and are free to the public!

Mica Dominguez-Robinson….Ana Maria, a teenage Latina, whose mother has recently died

Pablo Romero, tenor....Rodolfo, Ana Maria’s brother

Steven Taylor, baritone....Esteban, Ana Maria’s father

Leslie Remmert Soich, mezzo soprano….Abuela, Ana Maria’s grandmother who heads the household

Deborah Schmit-Lobis, piano

Adam Buer, guitar
