During this presentation, Dr. Bettcher will discuss how changes in the immune system relates to both healthy brain aging and Alzheimer’s disease. She will provide a brief primer on immunity, review recent research on inflammation and Alzheimer’s disease, and discuss the evolving science of acute infections and brain aging.
