MCA SHOWCASE: A Community Talent Show
Do you have a special talent that you would like to perform for your community?
Then we want YOU!
“MCA Showcase” is returning as a LIVE event at the Cube on April 15th for all amateur performers in Denver. We encourage all ages and talents to apply! Please see information below:
January 18th: Applications open
March 15th: Application deadline
March 22nd: Finalists announced
April 13th: Mandatory Rehearsal at 5:00pm
April 15th 4-6pm: Live Showcase event!
The three top winners will win a special prize!
*The application deadline is March 15th
*Amateur= A person who engages in an activity that is not a professional and unpaid.
MCA SHOWCASE Rules and Guidelines
1. All Acts are allotted no more than 3 minutes. Acts that exceed that time will be cut off due to the number of participants and time constraints of the event.
2. All entertainment should be appropriate for all-ages, No profanity, No nudity, bad language etc.
3. A person may appear in only one act.
4. No pyrotechnics, open flames, or other dangerous elements
5. A sound technician and microphones will be provided. Performers must provide their own backing track, accompaniment, instruments*, props, etc. (exception for keyboards)
6. A person may appear in only one act.
7. All performances must stay within a 24ftx12ft space and should not exceed 10ft in height.
8. All finalists must plan to attend a mandatory rehearsal at the Cube. The rehearsal will be either Thursday, April 13th or Friday, April 14th. The date and time confirmation will be determined by Feb 1st.

The MCA is a 501(c)4 nonprofit community organization whose mission is to operate Denver's Historic Airport District through comprehensive parks and recreation management, ongoing recreational and cultural programming, and ensure for the long-term operation and sustainability of all it's facilities and assets.
